Disney promotes captive insurance risk manager

Edgar Llamas has been promoted to risk management manager of captive insurance programmes at The Walt Disney Company.

The  insurance industry veteran was previously a senior risk management analyst for captive insurance programmes and has been at Disney in risk management analyst roles since 2015. 

Prior to joining Disney, he was a claims administrator at hotel chain Marriott International and a Keep at Work coordinator at Compwest Insurance. 

He began his career in 2008 as a claims examiner at captives giant Specialty Risk Services (SRS). 

According to his LinkedIn profile, he took up his new post in April.
