Habart moves to Marsh

Jonathan Habart has announced that he is starting a new position as insurance regulatory compliance and risk retention group officer at Marsh.

Habert was previously senior vice president - captive management at Davies Insurance Services, having started at the company in January 2023.

Prior to that he worked for the State of Tennessee for more than eight and a half years. He started as an accounting supervisor in June 2014 and moved into captive insurance regulation when he became a captive insurance specialist in May 2016.

Habart was assistant director of captive insurance from October 2020 to December 2022 and was director of captive insurance at the State of Tennessee from November 2021 to December 2022, based in Nashville.

Before that he worked for Gaylord Hotels in Tennessee for twelve years in a variety of positions.
