haysmacintyre appoints captive expert

London-based accountancy and tax advice firm haysmacintyre has appointed Geoff Johnson as partner. 

He joins the financial services sector team from Blick Rothenberg, where he was a partner. 

Johnson’s 17 years of financial services experience spans hedge funds and captive insurance companies based in the Cayman Islands, to work in Canada and now the UK working with FCA regulated managers, and the private equity and venture capital funds they manage. Geoff brings a deep knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, and exposure to US GAAP, alongside a tailored service to suit clients’ individual circumstances.
