Helio wins ICCIE designation

Captive management provider Helio has been recognised as an International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) Trained Organisation.

The designation means that ICCIE has recognised that the company has met a threshold for captive professionals who have the Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) qualification.

“I am very pleased Helio achieved this designation, especially so early in the firm’s existence,” said Helio’s Managing Partner and ACI holder, Heather McClure. “This is a very public acknowledgement of the knowledgeable, high-quality staff available to our clients.”

“It has been the vision of our partners to promote continuing education and professional development from Helio’s inception,” commented Blake Kerr, Helio’s Partner and Chief Financial Officer, also an ACI holder. “We are particularly pleased that two more staff have begun the pursuit of an ACI.”

To qualify as an ICCIE Trained Organization, Helio met a threshold of captive professionals holding the Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation in good standing as well as a separate threshold of staff who are ACI holders, Certificate in Captive Insurance (CCI) holders, or currently enrolled in the ACI or CCI programme.
