Hub International appoints Bernards as Alt Risk Practice Leader

Ellen Sue Bernards has announced that she’s starting a new position as executive vice president - alternative risk solutions practice leader at HUB International.

She made the announcement on her LinkedIn page, adding that she is “ready for the strategic vision ahead.”

Bernards was previously at Lockton for eleven years. She started as assistant vice president, Alternative Risk Solutions in February 2015 and became vice president, Alternative Risk Solutions in Jun 2019.

She became senior vice president, Alternative Risk Solutions, in June 2022 and then was promoted to senior vice president - managing director, Alternative Risk Solutions in August 2024.

Before working for Lockton she was a controller at Outsource from December 2013 to January 2015, based in Los Angeles, California.
