Missouri insurance regulators to headline Mid Rivers Risk Forum

The inaugural Mid Rivers Risk Forum has released the details of one of its scheduled sessions at the event.

In a statement the organisers said: “Gain an exclusive look inside Missouri’s insurance regulatory environment at this can’t-miss panel discussion, Inside Missouri’s Insurance Regulatory Landscape: A Panel Discussion with DCI Leadership. Moderated by Angela Nelson, Director of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI), the session will explore the department’s role in regulating the insurance industry while safeguarding consumers and ensuring a transparent marketplace.

“Joining Director Nelson are four key DCI leaders: John Rehagen, Director of Company Regulation; Jo LeDuc, Director of Market Regulation; Jeana Thomas, Director of Consumer Affairs; and Brenda Horstman, Director of Administrative Services. Together, they’ll share insights on how their divisions intersect with risk management practices, highlight regulatory priorities, and offer guidance for navigating Missouri’s insurance landscape. Whether you focus on underwriting, compliance, claims, or consumer protection, this panel promises practical perspectives and actionable takeaways for your organisation.”

According to the organisers the forum will provide educational sessions for risk managers who work directly with brokers, are self-insured, own a captive, or all the above. It is scheduled to take place on the 28-29th of September, 2025, at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel, St. Louis, Missouri.
