New audit director at BDO Cayman

BDO has announced that Gordon Procter (pictured) has joined BDO Cayman Islands as audit director, starting with immediate effect. 

In a statement on LinkedIn the company said that: “With his extensive experience and stellar reputation in the Cayman insurance and reinsurance industry, Gordon will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our insurance practice. 

“His leadership and expertise align perfectly with our strategic growth plans, and we are excited to have him on board to help us continue delivering exceptional service to our clients.”

Proctor was formerly at RSM Cayman for almost nine years. He joined as a manager in January 2016, became senior manager in October 2018 and then a director in October 2021.

Prior to that he worked for Grant Thornton in the Cayman Islands.
