New roles for the new year

January and December brought several moves and promotions across the captives industry.

Mark Tabler was recruited as a captive producer for Atlas Captive Management, based in Indianapolis. Tabler was formerly an executive director of Genesis Re, a medical stop-loss captive he created and managed. He did the same at Innovative Physician Solutions, also in Indianapolis, and was previously executive director for Multi-County Physicians Inc.

Dane Wilhelm, meanwhile, partner and account executive at Catto & Catto, based in San Antonio, Texas, has been promoted to senior vice president. Wilhelm has over 15 years’ experience in insurance, including managing captive insurance programs, and previously worked for The Hartford.

Finally, Raina Reeder has left Frisco, Texas, headquartered Conifer Health Solutions, where she was senior director of risk management and responsible for managing captive insurance. She has taken up the position of director of corporate risk management at not-for-profit retirement community provide Lifespace Communities.
