AF Group hires Patriot Captive Management president to head new division

Holding company AF Group has appointed Eric Halter as director of AF Specialty, a new division which provides fronting capacity and captive solutions.

Halter has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial sectors, most recently serving as president of Patriot Captive Management, overseeing its global operations.

AF Specialty provides fronting capacity to insurance carriers, managing general agent, reinsurance intermediaries and captive managers.

In his new role, Halter will partner with entities who are seeking a fronting facility to place well-managed, turnkey property and casualty programmes.
