Alera acquires Spring Consulting Group

Alera Group, an employee benefits, property/casualty, risk management and wealth management firm, has acquired Spring Consulting Group, an employee benefits and risk management consulting firm.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, although Alera said the acquisition expands the national presence of the group, estabishing locations of the firm in 17 states across the US.

Spring Consulting Group's expertise covers the spectrum of organisational risk, from small group health insurance to captive insurance for large multi-national corporations.

With the national resources of Alera Group, we will be able to increase the creative solutions and resource offerings available to our clients,” said Karin Landry, managing partner for Spring Consulting Group.
