AMS and Circle merge

AMS Financial Group, which includes captives manager AMS Insurance, has merged with its sister company, independent fund administrator Circle Partners. Subject to regulatory approval, the merger sees the new business operate under a new brand, Bolder.

“Having worked closely together over the last decade with stakeholders involved in both organisations, the consolidation of fund and corporate services is part of a growth strategy to offer seamless services worldwide,” the company said in a statement.

The business brings together AMS and Circle’s offices across the Americas, EMEA and Asia. As well as insurance management, it offers a broad range of fund services, fiduciary, management and corporate services, and corporate and structured finance solutions to international corporate and private clients.

The business will be led by Circle Partners cofounder Sükrü Evrengün who acquired the majority of the shares of AMS Holdings Ltd in 2012. Circle partners other cofounder Erik Kuijl is chief financial officers, while former AMS global management team member Rutger van Hilst is the new chief operations officer for the merged business.
