Anne Marie Towle takes up new role

Anne Marie Towle has joined Hylant as senior vice president, responsible for growing the global captive solutions business.

Towle has more than 25 years of industry experience and was until recently executive vice president at JLT Insurance Management, leading its captives practice.

Richard Hylant, president of sales and innovation at Hylant, said the move demonstrated Hylant’s desire to turn its captive business into a global resource in the captive and alternative risk space.

Kip Irle, who has led captive consulting, will continue to lead the company’s private equity and M&A business,  while supporting captives alongside Anne Marie.

She has also served on numerous boards and committees with the Vermont Captive Insurance Association, International Center for Captive Insurance Education, Captive Insurance Companies Association, World Captive Forum, and the South Carolina Captive Insurance Association.

Towle said: “From day one I was impressed with the caliber of people at Hylant as well as the company’s ability to deliver value to its clientele.”
