Tasha Barbour, Aon
Aon has hired a new managing director to strengthen its managed care team within its US reinsurance solutions business.
Tasha Barbour joins Aon’s managed care team from PartnerRe, where she was chief business development and marketing officer. She has also worked at Swiss Re, GE Insurance and KPMG.
She takes up her new post in Kansas City, Missouri, and focuses on new business development. She brings innovative reinsurance and stop-loss solutions to support a variety of managed care organisations nationally.
In her new role Barbour supports Aon’s evolving healthcare market opportunities, such as those focused on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) innovation programmes. She reports to Christina Mendez, Aon’s national managed care reinsurance practice leader.
Bob Black, executive managing director of reinsurance solutions’ accident, health and life team, said: “As the dynamic managed care market continues to evolve, Aon has a continued focus on expanding our team and developing our thought leadership to support our clients’ risk, capital and growth strategies. Tasha’s wealth of experience in the sector and reputation in the market is a perfect fit, and we are very excited to have her on board.”
