Arsenal hires Cassie Bachman as internal legal counsel

Arsenal has hired Cassie Bachman as director of legal affairs, who serves as the internal legal counsel for Arsenal and its subsidiaries.

In her new role, Bachman is responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of all alternative risk transfer vehicles under Arsenal’s management.

Bachman previously worked at an independent captive manager where she served as managing director of compliance, before which she worked in the legal sector for over eight years.

She has been involved in several high profile compliance and captive cases, including the IRS vs. Delaware Department of Insurance and the IRS Amicus Brief. She also served as judicial intern for the chief justice in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and volunteered as a legal licensed intern for the Norman Juvenile Drug Court and the University of Oklahoma Legal Clinic.

Bachman has worked with Fortune 500 companies to assist them with complex compliance issues surrounding US integration of international executives and key employees.

Norman Chandler, president of Arsenal, said Bachman’s extensive experience and knowledge in captive insurance made her a valuable asset who will help Arsenal maintain a leading position in innovation in the captive space.
