Artex appoints new captive director

Eric Eckenstahler has been promoted to the position of captive director at Artex Risk Solutions.

He was previously assistant director - captive accounts at the company, after being appointed to the position in January 2022, based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

In his previous role he provided account management for small to mid-sized clients, partnering with clients to conceive, design and manage alternative risk transfer solutions that help today's challenges and tomorrow's opportunities.

Prior to that he was account executive at Vertus Benefits from May 2020 to December 2021, where he was responsible for account management and oversight of employee benefit programs for small to medium-size businesses.

Chad Kunkel, executive vice president - Group Captives, North America at Artex Risk Solutions, said that he was excited to be working with Eckenstahler in his new role.
