Atlas names finance and compliance SVP

Atlas Insurance Management (Atlas), a US-based captive insurance management firm, has named Steve Coffield as senior vice president (SVP), finance and compliance.

In this role, Coffield is responsible for the key areas of treasury management. These are: corporate finance and tax; financial systems and controls; corporate secretarial; statutory, regulatory and legal compliance; risk management; human resources; and information technology.

Most recently, Coffield worked with an industrial supply company with $23 million in revenue as a chief financial officer (CFO) consultant.  He also worked as executive vice president/CFO for American Broadband Communications, where he successfully closed a $220 million refinancing of the company from 2009 until 2013.
