Brit hires Shana Stodolski to beef up its US cyber offering

Brit has appointed Shana Stodolski as assistant vice president for cyber for Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU).

Based in Glastonbury, CT, Stodolski reports to Jeff Norton, senior vice president of cyber liability. She is responsible for supporting profitable growth and underwriting for cyber at BGSU.

Stodolski joins from DUAL Commercial where she was a cyber liability and errors and omissions underwriter. She began her career in insurance at Chubb and held roles underwriting both cyber liability and professional liability.

Nick Davies, president of Brit Americas, said BGSU wants to establish a leading cyber offering. “We have a focus on adding people who bring both strong technical underwriting expertise and proven records in profitably growing cyber books,” he said.

In December 2019 BGSU appointed Douglas Ruhlman as assistant vice president for cyber.
