CIPR to go back to basics with webinar

The Centre for Insurance Policy & Research (CIPR) has announced that it is to partner with The Institutes Griffith Insurance Education Foundation on its upcoming webinar: Captives: Back to Basics, which will take place on June 9th at 1:00 pm Central Time.

CIPR said that captives are an important risk transfer tool in the risk management landscape with have seen significant growth over the past few decades.

In this webinar CIPR will cover the fundamentals of captives, examine their historic use during times of crises, and potential opportunities and challenges of captives and their use to fill future coverage gaps. This non-partisan and non-advocative webinar will provide foundational knowledge to help inform these important policy conversations.

The webinar will include input from Dr. Robert Hoyt of the University of Georgia and Steve Kinion, Director of the Bureau of Captive and Financial Insurance Products at the Delaware Department of Insurance.
