EIIA appoints Michael Zuckerman as independent director

Higher education insurance and risk management specialist EIIA has appointed Michael Zuckerman as an independent director. The Chicago headquartered member-owned business manages two captive insurance companies for its 130 member institutions.

Zuckerman brings experience in both education and insurance. He is currently associate professor for instruction, teaching risk management and insurance with Temple University Fox School of Business and Management. He is also as an independent consultant in risk management and insurance with particular expertise in captives and risk retention groups.

Zuckerman also spent 12 years with Aon and was managing director and northeast regional healthcare practice leader and alternative risk consultant.
