Former Tennessee commissioner joins Greenberg Traurig
Julie Mix McPeak, the former commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI), has been named as head of the new Nashville office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig.
McPeak spent more than eight years with the TDCI and is credited with modernising the state’s captive laws. In her new role she joins the insurance regulatory and transactions practice, in what becomes the law firm’s 41st office worldwide.
