Frates launches three insurance programmes

Frates Reinsurance Intermediary is set to launch three new insurance programmes in early 2015.

The three programmes, the nursing home WC captive programme, non-subscribers programme in Texas and healthcare cyber liability programme, will join 12 others launched by Frates in the last three years.

This includes habitational and commercial properties, insurance agents E&O, lawyers professional liability, hotel and motel P&C, yoga instructors, high value personal property and multi-class workers compensation programmes.

According to Frates, all three programmes are produced and underwritten by top tier programme managers and managing general agencies around the country and placed with AM Best ‘A’ rated insurance companies.

”We continue to diversify our portfolio of insurance programs," said Desmond Bohan, senior vice president of programmes at Frates. "Here we targeted three different lines of business. Each one also has a different geographic footprint: the nursing homes captive programme is predominately in the northeast, the cyber liability programme is on a national basis and the non-subscribers programme is of course in Texas. This is very exciting, made even more so because we have a few more in the pipeline close to a launch date.”
