GCM promotion on management team

Global Captive Management (GCM) has promoted Alanna Trundle to senior vice president.

Trundle has been with the Caymans-based captive management group for over a decade and joined its management team as a vice president in 2018. Before GCM, she worked for five years for accountants and consultants Deloitte, also in the Caymans

In the new role, Trundle will oversee compliance, learning and development, mentoring, and community involvement. She manages a portfolio of clients, including group captives, large public healthcare systems and one of the Cayman Islands’ largest segregated portfolio companies.

Trundle has also been a member of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) Captive Forum Committee for five years and will assume the role of chair this year.

“Alanna has taken the lead on several initiatives in GCM to help the organization grow and evolve,” said GCM president Tom Steward. “Among other things, she has played a key part in the enhancement of GCM’s culture and employee engagement resulting in her deserving promotion.”

Founded in 1982, GCM is now one of the largest captive managers in the world.
