Holmes Murphy strengthens team in Minneapolis

Independent brokerage Holmes Murphy has named Nate Hughes as account executive in the Minneapolis property casualty team.

He leads a team of insurance, risk management and organisational wellbeing professionals, advising clients in risk financing, risk management, compliance, productivity and the development of corporate culture to support strategy.

Hughes joined Holmes Murphy through the merger with Cobb Strecker Dunphy and Zimmermann, where he was a market leader focused on commercial and professional liability. Before that he worked at Wells Fargo Insurance Services in sales leadership and brokerage, covering a variety of industries including construction, healthcare, life science, manufacturing, professional services, technology and private equity.

Jay Reavis, senior vice president and market leader at Holmes Murphy, said Hughes was a great cultural fit. “The experience he brings aligns with the direction we are headed and our desire to uniquely serve our current and future clients,” he said.
