ICCIE to hold two April courses

The International Centre for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has included two new courses in its April calendar.

On April 20, 2023 ICCIE will be holding an elective course on ‘Captive Claims Management: Best Practices and Reinsurance’. The registration deadline is April 13, 2023.

In this course, participants will learn the various options for claims management and administration for a captive program as well as gain an understanding of the role of the reinsurer and reinsurance needs of a captive.

And on April 26, 2023 ICCIE will hold a core course entitled ‘Predicting Risk and An Introduction to Actuarial Science’. The registration deadline for that event is April 19, 2023.

In this course, topics covered include models for predicting risk, how to use loss triangles, rate making and pro forma financial projections.
