Japanese pharma company Daiichi Sankyo forms captive on Bermuda
Japanese pharmaceutical company Daiichi Sankyo has formed a captive on Bermuda, according to the latest filings release by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA).
The second-largest pharmaceutical company in Japan formed a Class 1 insurer on June 26 this year.
The revelation was part of a wider report showing that 32 re/insurer registrations and five intermediaries were registered on the island over the first half of 2019. In 2018, 75 entities were registered in total and in 2017 58 were registered.
