JLTIM names EVP of business development

JLT Insurance Management (JLTIM) (Bermuda), a captive insurance consultant and insurance manager, has appointed Andrew Hulme as executive vice president (EVP), business development.

Hulme was previously vice president, underwriting and claims, for the firm. He joined JLTIM in 2012 after having served in the London market as underwriters for Aviva and Allianz. His experience assessing exposures and claims trends and with advising clients on alternative program structures will serve him well in this new capacity.

“We’re excited about the skills Andy brings to this new position,” said Richard Daley, president, JLTIM. “In just a few years, Andy has shown extraordinary abilities in underwriting often difficult programmes, while also providing development support for new clients.”

He added: “We believe Andy will continue to serve our clients and develop prospects in a way that will best serve our clients and strengthen the firm’s position as an offshore insurance leader.”
