Kane maintains strong client services with captive account hire

Kane USA has announced the appointment of Mary Desranleau to head up its account management team as client services director.

Based in the firm’s Vermont office, Mary will report to Ann West, operations director at Kane USA.

Mary will lead a team of account managers at Kane USA and will be responsible for all aspects of captive account management. As well as ensuring the highest possible service standards for existing clients, she will focus on building new client relationships.

Prior to joining Kane, Mary was a senior account executive at Aon Insurance Managers in Vermont where she was responsible for managing their client services team. She joined the firm in 2003 as an account executive before taking on the senior position in 2009.

Commenting on the appointment, Ann says, “At Kane, our ability to maintain the highest levels of client service delivery is critical. A recent client survey in the US showed that over 90 percent of our clients were either satisfied or highly satisfied with the quality of service we provide. We are proud of this, but our aim is to continually look for ways to raise this figure, and Mary’s appointment is key to this.”

Desranleau’s other previous roles have included: manager of accounting at Fletcher Allen Health Care; director of finance at CPL Subacute, LLC; and regional controller at Marlin Management Services.

Desranleau adds, “In recent years, there has been a marked increase in the level of client expectation placed on captive managers. The challenge is not simply to meet that level of expectation but to look at how you can exceed it. Kane has a very strong reputation for the quality of its client services and I am very much looking forward to using my experience to help strengthen this further.”
