Kovrr strengthens its cyber risk modelling team

Kovrr, a platform allowing re/insurers to predict, price, and manage their cyber risk, has hired Marco Lo Giudice as head of pricing models development, expanding its cyber risk modelling team.

Giudice has worked in the catastrophe modeling and exposure management fields for thirteen years, and joins from Tokio Millennium Re where he was local head of pricing in the UK. He was responsible for scheduling, organisation, and delivery of all pricing activities within the UK office and he managed a team across the CAT and actuarial departments.

In his new role Giudice is based in London and is responsible for expanding Kovrr’s cyber catastrophe modeling and portfolio accumulation management capabilities.

Shalom Bublil, Kovrr’s chief risk officer, cited Giudice’s extensive experience developing and implementing catastrophe models for both insurance and reinsurance carriers. “We believe Marco will be a significant driver in helping Kovrr further develop our solutions for the re/insurance market and enable our clients to stress-test their books and get visibility into their cyber risk exposure,” he said.
