Kwong leaves KPMG to establish Cayman’s first local actuarial firm

Alvin Kwong has left KPMG to set up a consulting firm in the Cayman Islands which he claims will be the first local firm providing on-island actuarial services.

Kwong spent more than five years at KPMG in Cayman, latterly as principal for financial risk management. Before joining KPMG he was associate vice president for business insight at Zurich North America. He also spent time at Northbridge insurance.
