Marsh France hires from WTW to bolster captives and ART team

Marsh France has boosted its alternative risk transfer team with the appointment of appointments of Laurent Bonnet and Delphine Do Huu.

Do Huu joins after six years with Gras Savoye, which rebranded under its parent Willis Towers Watson’s name in January. Previously she was with consultant Prim’Act and has also held positions with ALTIA, as well as Axa France and Axa Corporate Solutions.

Reporting to commercial director and managing director Cyrille Brand, Laurent Bonnet is the consultant’s new Head of Captive and ART solutions. He’s also a Gras Savoye veteran, joining Marsh after almost 20 years with the firm, most recently as its head of captives and ART.

He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen.

The French captive market has traditionally been small but has picked up in the last couple of years. In 2020, the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority approved its  first reinsurance captive in nearly 20 years.
