Appointments at WTW and Marsh

WTW has hired Vaibhavi Patel as a senior director for integrated and global solutions, based in its Chicago office.

She joins the consultant after over two decades with Aon and Aon Hewitt. Most recently, she was Aon’s senior vice president, working with large and medium-sized multinational clients on global benefits and retirement. She started her career with Aon Hewitt in 2001 as a US actuarial pension consultant.

Meanwhile, in the UK, broker Marsh has bolstered its financial and professional (FINPRO) lines business with two new appointments. Tim Payne has been made UK chairman of the FINPRO practice, while Michael Morgan has been named head of professional liability, UK FINPRO. Both will report to Beth Thurston, the newly-appointed UK CEO for FINPRO at Marsh Specialty.

Payne began his at Bowring Professional Indemnity and has been with Marsh since 1985. He was previously head of professional liability, UK FINPRO. Morgan was previously head of global professions. He has over 30 years’ experience across financial lines, reinsurance, and captive management. Before joining Marsh in 2003, he was divisional director for global professions at Aon Risk Services Bermuda.
