McGill and Partners poaches Aon exec as it strengthens its portfolio solutions team

McGill and Partners has named Ken Lorber as a partner in its San Francisco office.

Lorber joins McGill’s portfolio solutions team, where he is responsible for structuring re/insurance products.

He joins from Aon where he spent nearly ten years on the commercial risk and reinsurance teams, structuring treaties for global and regional carriers, developing MGA solutions and establishing markets for new insurance products.

At Aon he worked his way up from account specialist to managing director. Before that he was a sales assistant at Allstate, a company he served for four years.
