NCCIA adds managing partner of public accountant firm to its board of directors


The North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) has appointed Donald Payseur to its board of directors.

Payseur is the managing partner of Butler & Stowe, a firm of certified public accountants.

Payseur has spoken to numerous professional groups and non-profit organisation on subjects ranging from formation of tax-exempt organisation and their governance, internal revenue regulations and tax law changes at the state and federal levels.

Jesse Coyle, the 2016 chairman of NCCIA, said: “We are pleased that Mickey Payseur has accepted election to the NCCIA Board of Directors. His expertise in the field of government affairs, corporate formation and accounting will be a significant asset to the Board as we continue to look for legislative and regulatory means to strengthen the NC Captive Practice Act.”

Thomas Adams, the president and chief executive officer of NCCIA, added: “Mickey Payseur brings the perfect blend captive insurance contacts and management skills to our fast growing association and industry.
