NCCIA appoints new chairman

The North Carolina Captive Insurance Association has named Lea Riddle as its new chairman.

His term commenced from the conclusion of the NCCIA annual conference in Charlotte on August 23 and will run for nine months until next year’s annual conference. He replaces Leon Rives in the position.

Riddle was previously treasurer at the NCCIA and is client executive at McGriff Insurance Services.

Under Riddle’s leadership the NCCIA will prioritise increasing the number of captive owner members, as well as increasing and improving the educational content of its newsletters, according to an NCCIA spokesperson.
