Netflix poaches risk management director from Amazon

Netflix has hired a new director of risk management.

Jason Turkovich joins Netflix in Seattle from Amazon, where he held the same role. He was at Amazon for more than four years, leading the global risk management function, including all global corporate issuances, third party insurance programmes and captive operations.

He has also led risk management teams at Nissan Motor Corporation and Honeywell, and was manager of insurance programmes at General Electric. He has also worked at Pepsi Bottling Group as a risk manager, and at Deloitte as a senior consultant.
