PMA appoints new captives underwriter

Pennsylvania-headquartered PMA Companies has appointed Vince Perotta as a senior underwriting specialist in its specialty markets division. He will work with distribution partners and clients, focussing on underwriting its captives book.

Perotta has significant experience in the captives industry, working across group, single-parent and rent-a-captives, as well as pure fronts. He joins from AIG, where he was a senior underwriter for captive solutions. Before that, he worked for over three years as an underwriter for Chubb.

“PMA’s SMD [specialty markets division] team is growing, and we are excited to welcome Vince Perotta to the fold!” said PMA captives and programs leader Steven Woodard, announcing the hire.
