Robus names Steve Quinn as chairman

Insurance management, fiduciary and financial advisory group Robus has named Steve Quinn as chairman.

Quinn has 30 years’ experience in financial services and was the founder and managing director of Quest Group in Gibraltar, which sold in 2016. He is also a former managing director of Premier Group in Gibraltar.

Richard Le Tocq, chief executive of Robus, highlighted Quinn’s “considerable expertise in his field,” calling him “a proven leader in the independent insurance management marketplace.”

Steve Quinn said: "I will be working closely with the team to maximise the various opportunities available in the three jurisdictions in which Robus operates. Specifically, alongside traditional insurance management, expansion of the existing ILS offering and MGA support in Guernsey, Gibraltar and Malta are key target areas for the group."

Robus was recently acquired by Geo Specialty Group Holdings.
