SCDOI makes four promotions in the captives division

The South Carolina Department of Insurance (SCDOI) has promoted Dan Morris to deputy director for solvency. He takes on overall responsibility for the captive division, as well as the analysis and examination of traditional companies, replacing Lee Hill, who recently retired.

SCDOI has also promoted Greg Delleney to the role of assistant director of captives, responsible for the application review, prospect coordination and domicile promotion functions previously handled by Joseph McDonald. Delleney continues to serve as chief financial analyst for the captive division.

In addition, Eva Conley has been promoted to supervising financial analyst, while Lauren Robertson has been named business plan change analyst.

SCDOI's director of the captive division, Jay Branum, stressed the captive division remains committed to delivering the highest level of professional service to its clients. The team intends to ensure South Carolina is at the forefront of US captive domiciles in terms of quality of service, depth of industry knowledge, and overall soundness of reputation, he said.
