Science pioneer to speak at Cayman Captive Forum

Dr. Michio Kaku has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the 2014 Cayman Captive Forum.

As one of the most widely recognised figures in science in the world today, Kaku is an authority in two areas. Firstly, his goal is to complete Albert Einstein's dream of a "theory of everything" which can unify all known physical laws. He is also the co-founder of string field theory.

Secondly, Kaku is a futurist who predicts how science will revolutionise business, finance, medicine, and our way of life.

His latest book, The Future of the Mind, is a number one NY Times Best Seller and details how many concepts from science fiction, such as telepathy, telekinesis, recording memories, exoskeletons, are possible today.

The Cayman Captive Forum runs fromDecember 2-4, 2014, and is the world’s largest captive conference.

It will also feature presentations from some of the world’s leading practitioners in the captive insurance industry, with a track specifically geared to healthcare captives, an industry space dominated by Cayman.

Cayman Captive Forum co-chair, Erin Brosnihan, said: “Dr. Kaku is a dynamic speaker with an amazing story to tell. He speaks of things that are happening today in the world of science that we have only thought about in terms of fiction and fantasy.”
