SRS names new chairman in Barbados as it continues to expand its geographic reach

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has named Kirk Cyrus as chairman of its business in Barbados.

Cyrus was already serving as managing director of the business in Barbados and now adds the role of chairman to his existing responsibilities.

He replaces Chris Evans, the former chairman in Barbados who has now stepped down.

Cyrus was born in Barbados and began his insurance management career in the island in the late 1990s. He serves on the Insurance Committee of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA) and is a regular contributing writer, both locally and internationally, on insurance and risk considerations for business owners.

SRS chief executive officer Brady Young said: “This well-deserved promotion is a natural next step as we continue to execute our strategy of expanding our customer base and geographic reach as we have done recently in other jurisdictions.”
