Turkcell appoints new captive manager

Burcu Akdoğanlar has been appointed captive insurance manager at Turkcell in Istanbul, Turkey.

Akdoğanlar was previously senior underwriter at Sompo Sigorta, also in Istanbul, from September 2020 to October 2022.

Prior to that she was senior placement manager at Aon from October 2017 to August 2020.

She was executive property underwriter at Aksigorta from March 2016 to October 2017 and property underwriter (corporate property / facultative & IIP accounts) at Allianz Türkiye from February 2013 to March 2016.
