United Educators gets 25th A rating in a row from AM Best

United Educators Insurance (UE), a reciprocal risk retention group serving K-12 schools, colleges, and universities, has received an A (Excellent) financial strength rating for the 25th consecutive year from AM Best.

“Our consistent financial strength is a testament to our entire team’s passion for serving education,” says Janice Abraham, UE’s president and chief executive.

AM Best noted UE’s “very strong” balance sheet and said UE’s business profile is favourable “due to a leading market position and diversification of risk by region and type of institution.”

The credit rating affirmed UE’s appropriate enterprise risk management “with both quantitative and qualitative methods for risk monitoring.”
