Vanliner Insurance celebrates milestone anniversary

Vanliner Insurance Company, a provider of insurance products for the moving and storage industry, has celebrated its five year anniversary as part of the National Interstate group of insurance companies.

The company was acquired by National Interstate from UniGroup in July, 2010. Since this time it has introduced three new group captive and five large account rental captive programs, representing nearly 100 customers.

Tony Mercurio, executive vice president and chief operating officer of National Interstate, said: “Vanliner has been an extremely successful acquisition for us. It allowed us to align with some very talented and experienced people in the moving and storage insurance business, and to introduce National Interstate's innovative insurance products to this industry.”
