VIEDA appoints new assistant head

The Virgin Island Economic Development Authority has appointed Rosa Thomas has as its new assistant chief executive officer. She will directly report to the VIEDA’s chief executive officer Wayne L Biggs, Jr.

Thomas joins from commercial and corporate real estate franchisor SVN International Corporation, where she headed its Virgin Islands operations, Real Impact Corporation. She is also the owner of Payroll Vault LLC, a full-service payroll processor for the USVI and Puerto Rico.

With 20 years of experience in operations and financial management, Thomas is a past general manager for captive insurance servicing company Hudson Management Group. A graduate of Vassar College, she has delivered lectures on various topics, including captive insurance, and co-hosted operations summits.
