Organisers still bullish on prospects for Western Region Captive Insurance Conference in Utah

The 2021 Western Region Captive Insurance Conference (WRCIC) is still confident of holding its multi-state in person conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, from June 14 through June 16, 2021.

The conference, titled 2021 A New Vision – On Your Captive, will be held at the Little America Hotel in Downtown Salt Lake City. In its eleventh year, the expanded onference will include new educational content, an enhanced Captive 101 boot camp, more networking opportunities and more sessions in advanced topics.

In 2020 the conference was cancelled, along with most other captive industry events. WRCIC’s organisers will monitor and assess the safety of an in-person event being possible and keep all registered attendees updated as summer 2021 approaches.

Brandy Alderson, president of the Utah Captive Insurance Association and WRCIC conference chair, said: “The WRCIC continues to serve the entire Western United States, working together to enhance collaboration, cooperation and best practices.”

Rae Brown, president of the Arizona Captive Insurance Association and WRCIC board chair, added: “The WRCIC Committee works hard to create conference sessions that are structured to provide substantive captive education for owners, providers, regulators, and friends.”
