Origin Captive Solutions launched

Origin Specialty Underwriters Agency, which has a primary focus on the restaurant, hospitality, and construction industries and is partner company of Beyond Risk, has created Origin Captive Solutions. 

“This new division will bring captive solutions to middle market companies by offering a broader array of risk management solutions,” said Origin in a statement. “Partnering with our sister company, GPW & Associates, Inc., our multi-disciplinary team of experienced underwriters, actuaries, certified public accountants, and captive professionals will provide full-service creation and execution of captives for our customers.”

Daniel Rossen (pictured) will be leading Origin Captive Solutions as its managing director. The initial focus will bring property solutions that are fronted by AM Best rated paper, thereby allowing captives to take risk while satisfying most lender requirements. Rossen commented, “There are many customers willing to retain risk in their property programs but are limited by lender requirements. We are excited to use Origin Captive Solutions to enable these clients to take risk rather than trading dollars with an insurance carrier”.
