PWC Cayman Islands invests in new insurance talent

PWC Cayman Islands has unveiled changes to its insurance team there as it invests in the future.

Ricardo Agrella (pictured) assumed the role of insurance leader as of January 1, 2025 and director Evelyn Urban is joining the team from PwC Bermuda as a reinsurance industry expert. 

Agrella specialises in auditing a variety of insurance entities including single parent captives, healthcare captives, group captives, segregated portfolio captives and commercial insurers. He was promoted to Partner at PwC Cayman in 2022. 

Agrella told Captive International that as the new Insurance Leader for PwC Cayman Islands, he is proud to be working with a dedicated, energetic, and passionate group of professionals. 

“Our re/insurance team is locally based in the Cayman Islands, allowing us to contribute to the Cayman Islands community and provide a full service offering to our clients. Working as a collective, I am excited about what our team can achieve. I believe we are exceptionally well placed to deliver sustained outcomes and help our clients solve problems.
