Guernsey Captive Briefing cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns
Guernsey Finance’s Captive Briefing, scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 in London, has become the latest event to fall victim to COVID-19.
In an email, Guernsey Finance told people that had registered for the event: “We regret that, in light of the ongoing developments with COVID-19, we have taken the decision, in consultation with our industry partners, to cancel the event at this time.”
Guernsey Finance confirmed it would try to reschedule the event for later in the year if possible.
It said the health and wellbeing of its guests and staff was its overriding priority.
The news comes following CICA's decision to cancel its event in California, which was due to run from March 8-10.
