CCIA postpones its captive conference until “later this year”

The Connecticut Captive Insurance Association (CCIA) has postponed its 2020 Collaborative captive conference, citing the health and safety of its members amid concerns around COVID-19.

The event was originally scheduled for May 27. CCIA said it would hold the event “later this year,” and promised to provide a specific date in coming weeks.

CCIA said its board and education committee has been working diligently to ensure the event was informative, and is now considering new ways to provide “virtual learning experiences, offering information key to Connecticut's expanding and evolving captive industry.”
