DCIA announces Fall Forum details

The Delaware Captive Insurance Association (DCIA) will be holding its Fall Forum in September.

The event, which will be held between September 19-20, 2016, will take place at the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware.

The forum will give an update on the status of self-procurement tax in the various states, as well as other state tax developments that may be relative to captives.

It will also focus on investment policy portfolio design, the evolution of the alternative market, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) challenges and enterprise risk captives.

Speakers at the event include: Daniel Kusaila, partner, Crowe Horwath; David Kilborn, chief investment officer, Performa (US), Jeff Packard, assistant vice president, PMA Insurance Group; Ryan Work, senior director, government relations, SIIA; and Steve Kinion, director, Bureau of Captive and Financial Insurance Products, Delaware Insurance Department.
